Motorola is bringing its award-winning Good Mobile Messaging 5 software and services to India. Naturally, the idea is to meet needs of the enterprise mobility market and deliver "an unparalleled user experience aimed at making the mobile workforce more productive while strengthening security and IT control." Sony Ericsson announced today that Dee Dutta, Corporate Vice President and Head of Marketing, has decided to leave the company on March 31st.
Dee joined the Swedish-Japanese handset maker in 2002, and since 2003 he has held the role of Head of Marketing. During his time at Sony Ericsson he has built the marketing organisation throughout the company, and under his leadership the Sony Ericsson brand has climbed to No 2 in Brand Purchase Consideration. The idea seems to compete with the recent FCC auction winners, AT&T and Verizon, in voice and data services.
